They can be the weakest species and the strongest on the battle field. They are often called mages, magicians, wizards, witches, and many other variations based on their abilities. Their abilities come in two different categories, Magic and Necromancy. Nephilim Magic ; their magic is considered to be unknown except by fellow nephilim of course. They keep it hidden safely from the eyes of others. However, they can use dark magic, healing magic, and white magic. Dark magic is the most powerful but the more powerful spells are dangerous to use, as they use the actual life force of the user. Life force can be regenerated through a series of healing sessions. Once a life force is completely drained, the nephilim looses all magic and unfortuently dies. Healing magic can not heal the user as it is meant to be used with selfless reason. It can only be used on others. Light magic is a magic that is not tainted as Dark Magic is. Most of the magic used by Nephilim is considered to be Light Magic. Most nephilim must use an incantation to use a spell. However, there are a select few who have been created with the ability to cast spells without incantations. These few Nephilim with this ability are normally born Nephilim, however it has been known for sired Nephilim to have this ability as well. Nephilim Necromancy ; this is not to get confused with the ability of an angel to bring back the dead. While, yes, necromancy involves raising the dead in the form of an apparition or as a ghost they do not give life back to them for good. Even should the nephilim raise the dead for a moment, they will turn to dust. The longest time span of necromancy being used to raise the dead was not longer than three hours, and that was by a powerful member of the race. But remember, the dead miss being alive. Should you raise them once, there is a good chance they could follow you for a while after that. Some have even been known to cause the nephilim's life to be hell by ruining anything possible because they believe the nephilim is being selfish and not reviving them or an idea to that effect. Nephilim also get requests from the dead to tell they're relatives a final goodbye - even hundreds of years after the death. Being born into the nephilim species is extremely rare, while these members of the race are generally the most powerful, most of the race gets turned after birth. To sire a nephilim, the sire must use a very powerful white magic spell, which normally leaves the sire and child mostly drained until a good night's sleep. ABILITIES: Dream Walking: the ability to see and even manipulate someone's dreams. Psychic Weapons: Ability to create a weapon of psychic energy that can harm mentally and not physically. Necromancy: the ability to temporarily restore a soul to their body for a certain amount of time. They retain all memories and personality, as well as their original abilities. However, they are under complete control of the Nephilim who summoned them. Each basic summon takes away one allowed hit and can only get hit twice during battle. An advanced summon can take two-three allowed hits from your allowed hit count. Summoning for information just brings back the soul temporarily, not their body. STRENGTHS: -Necromancy -Other Abilities -Long-ranged fights WEAKNESSES: -Short-ranged fights -Human Disease -Bullets of any kind -Sharp Objects -Infection A Nephilim can be killed just as a human can. Whether it is from a heart attack, disease, or a bullet wound through the chest; they are all liabilities. However, good luck getting through their summons and getting close enough.
